The Archaeological Park, located at km 207.700 of the Andalucía Highway (exit 208), is an initiative of the Valdepeñas Town Hall to highlight the Iberian City of Cerro de las Cabezas. Among its facilities are restoration workshops, conference rooms, a library, landscaped areas, and an Interpretation Center. All these built infrastructures allow for numerous cultural, academic, and recreational activities.

Its central core is the Iberian site, which, covering 14 hectares, is situated along the communication axis between the Plateau, Andalusia, and the eastern coast. Excavation has revealed the entire urban planning of an Iberian city from the 6th to the 3rd centuries BC. Alongside this research, efforts are made to consolidate and restore all the discovered structures with the aim of showcasing them to all visitors of the Archaeological Park.
